Laal Ishq is a series of photographs to celebrate wlw love the same heternormative way. Overall theme is the red, the colour of love and passion. Shots include the innocent platonic intimacy by holding hands and playing 'phugdi', a hyper realistic, exaggerated kind of love with a large red moon as the backdrop like a halo. Two lover sharing a red wedding veil and a jaded, exposed dreamy look, with the bridges of their noses fitting perfectly into each other and a shot of intertwined fingers holding hands covered in 'kumkum' to show endlessness and how all-consuming love can be.
